Claire Wellin, w/ Chris Darby, & The Fever Dreams * October 22, 2026

Claire Wellin is a singer, writer, multi-instrumentalist, educator, and organizer who uses music-making to open us up—to each other, to ourselves, and to new ways of seeing and being. Claire leads the surrealist folk band Youth in a Roman Field, is the lead singer of the indie rock powerhouse San Fermin, and is a proud member of the Coordinating Committee of SURJ NYC. She has performed on Broadway (Once: The Musical), written and performed the score for the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play Accidentally Brave, recorded as a singer and violinist on over 40 albums, and regularly composes for dance and immersive visual art projects. When she’s not touring, Claire especially loves teaching (voice, songwriting, violin, and ukulele), live-scoring events, and watering her plants. Chris Darby’s musical development began in Missouri, and gradually took form in Kentucky, Illinois, Oregon, Wisconsin, and everywhere in between.
